During the height of the flu season I took to taking my temperature multiple times during the day. (A little paranoia never hurt anyone.) Broke my old-style thermometer finally and bought a new digital one. While it has always seemed that my temp ran low from the normal average of 98.6, the new thermometer verifies that it's by a few degrees. A useful adaptation for Northwoods winters. I looked up the condition on the Internet and found a number of people have low body temps. (Had hoped to read that it was an indicator of genius but no such luck.)

Makes sense. Computers run better in a cooler environment, why not brains. How are the sneaky smokers doing?
