Monday was milking class so we didn't scrub the parlor. Tuesday the DNR came to check on the starling problem and they were emphatic that they didn't want anything going on out of the ordinary so Eric told us not to scrub. Wednesday is the day we chose instead to clean but when it turned out to be below zero, I put a nix on that - a good call because there were problems w/ the machinery in the barn and the guys were tied up after milking working on a fix. However, no excuses for today. Jose and I worked hard getting rid of a week's worth of crud. Carol was kind enough to stop by and say how great everything looked. I may have been wet, cold, tired, and dirty but it was nice to have someone appreciate our efforts. A good thing to remember and give forward in the future.
