Soil Substrata

The pastor, in keeping w/ the season, gave his sermon from the Song of Solomon. In his introduction he explained he was going to talk about sex and had gone through this Biblical book picking out it's most sensuous verses. He had the rapt attention of the congregation. As the homily progressed, the pastor explained that he had cross-checked w/ other commentators to see how they had interpreted various passages. However, the pastor figured that one annotator who - concerning Chapter 7:3 "Your breasts are like two fawns, twins of a gazelle." - wrote it was referring back to "the two stone tablets of the Mosaic law" had obviously missed the whole point of this book. I was thinking there's a guy who I doubt is on anyone's Valentines list either.
