Indy in the new snow

According to the news, Superbowl Sunday is the second biggest "eats" day of the year. (I assume it's Thanksgiving day that tops it.) I'm not really into football anymore (especially after finding out about long-term brain injuries and bonus payments for "taking out the quarterback") but I decided to celebrate the feasting portion of the occasion. Yesterday I made a German pancake w/ Swedish lingonberries and later ate the last of the leftover Swiss steak. This morning it is French Quiche Lorraine and this afternoon I'll make Mexican style chili; topping it w/ leftover Italian cheese.   For a uniquely American event, I don't seem to be eating very patriotically.

Scandals or no, you couldn't land in Maryland and walk 10 feet without knowing the Ravens were in the SuperBowl. It was a sea of purple!
