Went to the optometrist today to get a new prescription and order glasses. I like this optometrist. He will answer any question I have but doesn't make small talk or other extraneous chit-chat. Went through the excruciating "Is this better ... or this?" Put my face up to a machine that looked a lot like one Vincent Price used to gouge out people's eyes in an old time horror flick. Fixated on an intense white light while he looked at the back of my eye. End result is I still have a slight haziness in my lens which is normal for my age and spokes in the back of my eye. "Nothing to be concerned about." he said. I googled it when I got home and read dire things spokes could portend. Decided this was one of those times where a little knowledge is a bad thing. I'll do what the doc said and not be concerned.
