Watered the house plants tonight. I usually do on Sunday night and it's not quite as easy as it sounds. Currently there are 35 pots. Some are deck plants that I am overwintering - including the cacti. Then there is the amaryllis which has bloomed for the last three years. I've got it in the bathroom currently to see if the darker environ will convince it to bloom again. Four are cuttings that I have in test tubes until they develop a root system and can be transplanted. Three are on top of the kitchen cabinets and require a chair to reach. Two are in my aquarium-turned-terrarium which means removing the top. The rest of the plants are scattered around the house. I read that you should have one plant per 100 sq. ft. of house. They keep the air in the house refreshed (plants absorb carbon dioxide and release oxygen), raise the water vapor in the air, and are decorative. Even my house plants have to work!

Plants are neat .... beneficial and fun to watch grow. I'm short 70. Do enjoy the two I have; even though old, leaning over, propped up with several sticks. Keep the life force going!
