Town Board meeting tonight. The old town hall comes down next week and the board was deciding what furniture needed to be kept and what can go. I asked them to keep the ballot boxes - they can be reused. The fence used to direct people during an election can go. It's quite long and low and serves no other purpose but to funnel people requesting a ballot to the voting booths. "Though if it's going to go, I wish I had a couple of pieces of the wood." I mused. After the meeting, the chairman went outside and we heard a chainsaw start up. He walked back into the room and in a few quick slices had cut four pieces of wood from the fence. Keep forgetting that Northwoods men can be disconcerting but very effective.
