Pens from local woods

When I walked out to my car this morning at 4:15 a.m. there wasn't frost on the windshield but snow. It continued to snow all morning. The overhead heater at work isn't working right now.   The wind was strong enough to open the fan vanes and blow right in on us. The good news is that if it's snowing, it isn't all that cold. Of course, what "all that cold" means is relative to what you are used to. Floridians would be shivering uncontrollably and wearing coats, gloves, and woolly hats.   In the Northwoods, we just stopped driving w/ our windows open and have started wearing sweatshirts.
