Steve and Rachel stopped overnight before taking off for a weekend retreat north of here. They brought along a gift from my great niece. She spent much of the summer in Russia and brought these matryoshka dolls back for me. Had fun opening each one, thinking I was finally to the last one but finding one more beyond that. Put them in the cabinet where I have Lomonozov porcelain - also from Russia. A perfect place to display them and make sure that the littlest dolls are not tempting Ori.Friday, October 26, 2012
Russian Nesting Dolls
Steve and Rachel stopped overnight before taking off for a weekend retreat north of here. They brought along a gift from my great niece. She spent much of the summer in Russia and brought these matryoshka dolls back for me. Had fun opening each one, thinking I was finally to the last one but finding one more beyond that. Put them in the cabinet where I have Lomonozov porcelain - also from Russia. A perfect place to display them and make sure that the littlest dolls are not tempting Ori.

Olivia showed them to me when she brought them home and I kept thinking the same thing. This is the last doll....no, this is the last doll....perhaps this one?
