October Library Display

Had a hair appointment today to get it cut so I could see again and return it all to one color. Yes, I know that I always said I'd stop dying my hair once I reached 60 but turns out I'm not emotionally ready to go white yet (or whatever color I really am now). So sat back and let the beautician make me a very light brunette again. After she was done she blew it dry and brought up the curling wand. Guess the look I gave her was enough because she put it right back in it's holder. No styling mousse. No gel. I shook my head and if anything the cut looked even better a little mussed. Perfect.

What happened to your idea of putting some books in there, too? (Edgar Allen Poe's stuff or even a Tim Burton movie?)

I think Mom waited until she was around 70 to stop with the hair "tint". Of course, I am a lot closer to that age, (than you are) and yes, there is much grey/white lurking about.

Seems like I remember my mother-in-law fearing the grey hair; it wouldn't be very pretty. Was she surprised when when it was very white.
Since you're the younger sister-in-law , it's okay to have light brunette hair.
