American Fly Honeysuckle

First election of the year. I suggested to the Chief Inspector (who runs the township's election) that we might want 5 people working instead of the usual 3. Didn't know if the presidential preference would bring people out but I did know that new state laws had changed procedures and paperwork. Plus we have four more elections coming up this year and it might be a good thing to have a larger than normal group of people w/ experience to recruit from. Had 110 people vote - about 1/3 of the registered voters. Exactly 1/2 used paper ballots and 1/2 used the voting machine. While the election workers counted ballots I did the paperwork. Must be getting better at it since it seemed to go quicker this time. Still... a late night for me.
