Guard Dog (Ceramic)
I listened to a scientist this morning that did research on how movies affect people. The genre of movie you prefer says something about your personality (for example: Horror/Sci-Fi enthusiasts are open to new ideas). People derive a comfort from watching their favorite movie over again (reminds them of a time when they first saw it). They found no difference in the effect of movies whether seen at a cinema or at home on TV. Maybe that's why, even when there are so many new shows, many people prefer the TV stations that show old reruns of programs. Of course it could also be that the old shows didn't rely on sexual situations for the entire plot line and use innuendos for all of the jokes; could deliver a zinger w/o requiring words to be bleeped out; and you knew in the end, the guy w/ the black hat would get what he deserved.
