All village-wide garage sale today. I'd meant to check out a few places hoping to find some items for a new collection I want to start. After breakfast at the local restaurant I was starting out but there, just down the block from the restaurant, was one of my favorite shops. The sign outside stated, "Every item $1." Couldn't pass that up. Three bags of baskets, ribbon, wrapping paper, boxes, candles, etc. later I walked out. I decided that was all of the shopping I could handle in one day and went on w/ the other errands I had for the morning. Maybe I should try to do a little shopping every day - I'm woefully out of practice.
