Sunset

Was a little surprised today to realize that the book I'm reading now, by Ngaio Marsh, is about England just before the start of WWII.  The library DVD I listened to this afternoon was "The King's Speech" about George VI just before WWII.  I'm listening tonight to Old Time Radio where all of the advertisements are for war bonds or saving fat for the war effort in the '40s.  Didn't have any conscious plans to celebrate Memorial Day - seems like my subconscious does though.
