Moon at Sunrise

Up early to catch a picture of Mercury & Venus. However, Venus is at it's maximum eastern elongation and just too far from sunrise to make a picture. Couldn't even find Mercury in the haze on the horizon. Sunrise wasn't all that pretty either. Jupiter and the moon are fairly close but while Jupiter is on the ecliptic, the moon is 5 degrees north of the ecliptic right now and they are passing each other by a large margin. Guess it's just one of those days where the planets aren't aligned for me. That thought made me laugh and check my horoscope: "Projects are fraught with peril today, as nothing seems clear to you. Do your best to relax and wait for later". Hmmm, maybe there is something to this astrology stuff.
