Another very cold morning; -18F. As is to be expected, when it gets to these kinds of temps some type of equipment problem shows up. The dairy's current issue is w/ the transponders each cow carries on a collar around their neck. Suddenly over 10 of them stopped working yesterday. Didn't think too much of it and figured it was just because of the extreme cold but dutifully wrote down the numbers on the whiteboard. This morning the herdsman asked me to write them down again. Seems it isn't a temporary problem since second & third shifts had the same issues. After work, I took pictures of the dairy owners. They needed something to send to an organization. This one was an out take but I rather liked it.
