Ori snuggled w/ stuffed animals

Fourteen people at the board meeting. Some were on the agenda, some came along for moral support, and some just wanted to hear what was going on in the township. Sandy Miller asked if the short access road she lives on could be blacktopped. She explained there are more people using the road now, there is a business located there, and the school bus travels it to pick up kids. The board said that paving the "thru-streets" took priority over the "dead-end" streets. The estimate for putting 3" of asphalt/mile is $120,000. That's more than the township receives in government highway aids for the entire year. Afraid Sandy will be living on a gravel road for the foreseeable future.
