The Mayer Kids

Back to work. The herdsman had hurt his neck over the weekend so had a doctor's appointment today and wasn't there. The owners filled in. Monday and Thursday are the days we scrub the parlor and I had worked out w/ Mike that, because I wouldn't be in on Monday, we would clean on Tuesday. I was pretty busy today but still noticed that the walls of the parlor looked pretty clean. As we were finishing up w/ the milking I finally asked Carol, the owner, if they had cleaned on Monday. She replied, "Yes, this way you get a real vacation." I told her I would kiss her if I did that sort of thing. She laughed. Got home early and took a nap.
