This is an Ebony Jewelwing Damselfly. A whole bunch must have just hatched because they seem omnipresent at the moment. They eat most any insect smaller than they are - including mosquitoes and houseflies. Of course, they are food for almost everything bigger than they are - including Robins and Red-winged Blackbirds. With their metallic blue-green bodies and broad black wings, I think they add a bit of elegance to the swamp.
