Yellow Hawkweed

Someone put letters in local mailboxes asking people to come to the Town Board meeting tonight and tell the board that they wanted the ski hill lease rewritten. Well, there are 2 problems w/ that plan. One is that only postal workers are allowed to put letters in mailboxes and it's a federal offense if you do. The other is that you lose control of who knows what you are up to. So, while there was quite the turnout at the meeting tonight, there were more people there wanting to keep the status quo than wanting a change. I enjoyed the meeting if for no other reason than to see so many people showing an interest in the inner workings of the township.
