The tree swallows left the nest today. The 4 eggs that were laid around May 23rd, hatched around June 11
th, were now fully feathered and flying. Here two of the siblings are resting on a nearby bird house while Mom is trying to coax the final chick to come out of the nest and Dad is keeping an eye on everyone from the top of their home. Phil, Brent, and I watched as the kids tested out their flying abilities (I was impressed) and their landings (where they needed some practice). Couldn't help but smile.
