Blue-eyed grass

Summer has arrived with a vengeance. Temp here was 90 degrees F with tropical humidity. It was a 2 fan day in the milking parlor (max is 3). Indy and I cut our walk to only 45 minutes and hit a couple of ponds along the way so she could jump in and cool off. The surrounding hills have taken on that blue-green color indicative of a sultry haze in the air. The mosquitoes and deer-flies have hatched and are hungry - going outside w/o spraying yourself first w/ OFF is suicide. I'm hoping the one redeeming thing that this heat brings will happen soon. Wood ticks die back after the hot weather hits.
