Orchids

Took Indy out for an early walk. We trudged through foot thick snow. Not pleasant but necessary. Once home I packed her in the car and took off to the local animal shelter. Every year at this time, I take Indy back to where I got her so they can see how well she is doing and to make a donation. Even though I had hoped to take some of the edge off her excitement w/ an early walk, Indy was still unresponsive to any command I gave her. That is until I brought out a treat. Suddenly, she was obeying every request - sitting, rolling over, begging. The supervisor was enchanted. Hope we made her day.
