The Winter Olympic medal count is in your face every time the news comes on. It's actually pretty meaningless, in my opinion. The U.S. leads, at the moment, but then they sent 200+ athletes. Norway is third in the medal count but they sent less than 100. If we talk medals per capita, Switzerland should be pretty proud of their showing. Is it really nation vying against nation or each athlete trying to do their best at that moment? Of course, as my brother Brent pointed out, I won't even keep track of points when we play board games ...so... maybe it's just me.
