The last form, for me anyway, that has to be filled out for the town's tax season is the Tax Roll Certificate for Taxes Levied. It's a two page form - the treasurer fills out side and I fill out the other. Then she turns them in together to the county. Got the call today that she was ready to do her half so I bopped down to her place to fill out mine. It's never very pretty. Since it's a form we only fill out once a year, we don't remember where exactly we got the numbers from last year, the forms don't use the same terms as other forms do, and it's a little galling since we get the numbers from the county anyway (they could crunch this form out for all of their townships easily). But it has to be done. We make sure that both of our sides match to the dollar, sign and date it. Think I'll celebrate w/ a nice meal and see if there is anything besides football on TV.
