Full Moon

Read about the women ski-jumpers who were trying to be included in the Olympics. Hadn't realized that the Olympic International Committee (OIC) considered ski-jumping only a man's sport. Whatever the OIC reasons for not letting the women compete, there were two things that stood out in my mind. One was the OIC Canadian rep looking into the camera and saying that if the women made a fuss (and I'm paraphrasing here) the OIC wouldn't let them compete in the next Olympics either. I was screaming. The gall of this guy to threaten them and misuse his power. The other thing was a film clip FIS president Gian Kasper saying that it wasn't medically healthy for women to ski jump. That's really quite humorous since women's reproductive organs are tucked inside where it's safe and warm and men's are ...well... you'd think there could be the danger of frostbite in those skin-tight suits.

Ooo, this really frosts my cookies. I think that OIC Canadian guy must have taken a few too many curling stones to the head. What a maroon!

Oh, and All Saints Day is November 1st.
