We all went out into the snow and cut a balsam from the back 40 on Wednesday afternoon. The house smells wonderful! Had Brent and Phil put the lights on. They had just finished when I took this picture. Sheila in untangling the garland getting ready to add that and ornaments. Very pretty tree and straight, too! Remember how Mom and Dad had wires holding the tree to the light on the wall (and whatever else was available)so it would not fall over?
Once I was at the farm when your Dad removed the tree from the house after Christmas, he trimmed it down with a chain saw so it could be moved out the door easier.
First time I ever saw someone use a chain saw in the living room! One of my favorite memories of your Dad.
