Muskrat

A rough day for the herdsman. I walked in this morning and he was watching the cleaning system run. He'd noticed that the milking machines hadn't been washed last night and he was running it to see what went wrong. Three cows freshened while we were milking so he had to leave to take care of them. The scraper broke in his hands while he was cleaning off the walkways. Vet check today so he had things to get ready before the vet arrived. After milking, while I was cleaning, the drains plugged up and he opened up the sewer system to switch a valve. Still he took everything in stride. Wonder if cows have a calming effect?
