Went to election training. This one ran longer than usual - new county clerk and more to go over. Even though presidential elections are the largest kind we have - the state, in it's infinite wisdom - has changed forms, deadlines, and rules. Some have, thankfully, changed back to what they were. Others have become so convoluted that the county clerk had to go over them a couple of times before everyone understood what to do (though not always why). There was also a webinar from the state reviewing rules on electioneering, taking photos, curbside voting, military and oversea voters. Anyway, I feel ready for the election and am so very, very glad I'm just a poll worker and not the clerk!
