After listening to President Obama's speech on new gun control measures, I "shot" an e-mail off to my elected official. I told him I agreed w/ what the president did and suggested he not participate in partisan politics. I got an answer back this morning from Senator Ron which didn't say much but at least didn't belittle Obama's executive action. What really surprised me was I hadn't e-mailed Sen. Ron - I'd e-mailed House Rep. Sean. I double checked the automated notice I receive after contacting a gov. official and it was indeed from House Rep. Sean's office. Something screwy is going on in Washington (in more ways than one.)
