Orchids

I dutifully went to the town hall building and turned on the heat at 5:00 pm. By 7:00, when the town board met, the old one-room school house was pleasantly warm. There wasn't much on the agenda for this month and no one showed for the "citizen appearance" portion of the meeting. The town board, therefore, amused themselves by asking the clerk to check on this and check on that for almost every agenda item. They even want me to go through Robert's Rules of Order to see if we should have an agenda item to accept the agenda at the beginning of the meeting. I think next month, I won't turn on the heat until the meeting starts. Bet the meeting finishes quickly then!

Lateran Treaty of 1929? Then the Prime Minister would have been Mussolini.
