Sent in my taxes today. It always puzzled me why plaintiffs on Judge Judy said "He promised to pay me back out of his tax refund." All of the time I worked I always had to pay into either the feds or the state (or more often both) and any refund wasn't all that large. This year however I'll get money back from both. Turns out if you don't work very much, you get a bigger refund. Doesn't make sense but that seems to be the way it works. Anyway, can put away all of my 2016 stuff now and I'm committed to 2017.
