Cattail

Another beautiful day in the Northwoods. Temps in the 70's. Sunny w/ some fluffy clouds. Breeze. The air is scented w/ the aroma of milkweeds in bloom (akin to the smell of lilacs). It would have been a perfect day except NBC preempted Meet the Press this morning w/ some idiotic golf match. The day before the beginning of the Republican National Convention and the day after Gov. Pence in named Mr. Trump's running mate and the network decides to air a game of pasture pool instead of talking heads opining on every nuance of these political dealings. I took a walk to clear my head. There is just a grain of logic to the network's programming choice I suppose. The only thing as boring as golf is the non-prime time programming of the national conventions.
