Making Hay

Watched the clouds roiling overhead before the storm hit last night. By 3 a.m. the storm was gone and I opened up all of my windows to let in fresh cool night air. The forecast says three days of sunshine before the next storm. My neighbor was out early this morning cutting hay. He tries to calculate how much to cut by how long it will take to dry and bale before the next rain. The wind this afternoon certainly helped along that drying process. I still had all of my windows open and propped my bowling bag in front of the bedroom door to keep it from slamming shut. Turns out my 13 pound ball wasn't up to the task. On the positive side I can swear that my house got a good airing out today.
