Crabapple blossoms

Yesterday, for the first time this year, I took Aunt June outside. The sun was warm and it was windy. Figured she might enjoy feeling both sensations. Spent a little more time outside w/ her than my original plan because one of the doors back into the nursing home was still locked but June was in a good mood and liked having a little adventure. In the afternoon it looked like we might get rain. I finished any outside work. Set my old planters out at the drip line from the eaves. Went to bed. This morning that storm has passed. My old planters have been rinsed out. A pretty fog covers the countryside ('pretty' because I don't have to drive in it). To think, less than one week ago we were still under frost warnings.
