Cowbirds in a black willow tree

I enjoy the new TV show Lucifer. Even though it's story lines and theology are often flawed, the questions it brings up about the nature of the Devil and evil I find intriguing. Unfortunately comments about the show in religious publications are all negative. They denounce the show as "glorifying Satan" w/o, from what I can tell, ever watching an episode. I don't believe there was such an uproar about the movie The Ten Commandments or Touched by an Angel. Probably because those shows went w/ traditional views and didn't push anyone's comfy religious boundaries. I will say that if I compare Lucifer to tele-evangelist programs I've seen (and I've seen a lot), Lucifer is the more thought-provoking and, indeed, more Christian. But then, tele-evangelists do set a pretty low standard.

We saw cowbirds this week but I didn't know what they were called. Now to remember if they are the ones that lay parasitic eggs or is that catbirds?
